Jeni Landers
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jeni A. Landers, Esq. brings professional expertise in nonprofit leadership, legal advocacy, and organizational governance to her role as Executive Director. Jeni is a passionate advocate for inclusion, dignity, and opportunity for all people, guided by the belief that every individual deserves to live a life of meaning, connection, and respect.
With a legal career spanning over 17 years, Jeni has worked across nonprofit, private, and public sectors to advance equity, compliance, and mission-driven impact. She has held senior legal roles at global advocacy organizations including Mercy For Animals and the International Fund for Animal Welfare, where she advised on a broad range of issues including governance, fundraising, advocacy, and policy development. Jeni takes pride in building trust, supporting teams, and creating systems that help others succeed.
Jeni’s background includes extensive work with organizations serving vulnerable populations, and she has been deeply involved in community-based leadership across Cape Cod. She currently serves on several local boards, including Transitions Center, Inc. and the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School Committee, and has previously chaired the board of Latham Centers, Inc., which provides life-changing services to children and adults with complex special needs. Jeni is also a long-time volunteer at WE CAN, supporting local women in transition.
Originally from Cape Cod, Jeni is a graduate of Smith College and Northeastern University School of Law. She lives in Dennis with her family and is energized by the resilience and strength of those she serves..

Deirdre 'deer' Sullivan
PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Deirdre deer Sullivan joined The Center as Program Coordinator in Dec. 2023 and has been developing meaningful, engaging programs and events for the Cape Cod ASD/IDD community and their families.
Deer served as a Counselor/Advocate for Independence House, supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence. She also worked for 23 years in Unitarian Universalist congregations as Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries. She brings skills of community building, volunteer recruitment, conflict resolution, mindfulness and program development.
Deer is a certified Creative and Expressive Arts facilitator, Earth Artist and Community Collaborator, and believes that regardless of ability, we all need one another and have gifts to offer each other.

Heather Watson
PROGRAM ASSISTANT
Heather Watson joined The Center as Program Assistant in Feb. 2024 and works to develop programming, facilitate groups, and manage social media. She is a Board-Certified Music Therapist and brings experience from pediatric and psychiatric settings. Heather enjoys helping people of all ages and abilities through music and believes everyone deserves access to quality care. She is excited to address the needs of the community at The Center in a meaningful way.

Leigh Hanrihan
OFFICE ASSISTANT
A long-time Cape denizen with autism, Leigh aids with many things relating to files and databases. He is a long-time birder, and has long assisted Wild Care as a summer volunteer with baby bird feeding. He is also far more fond of autumn and winter than summer.
